ABSOLUTE FREEDOM IS AS A RESULT OF ACTION
There's nowhere in this world were true freedom and emancipation of the people from the oppression of bad systems that's achieved without struggle. I challenge any person that claims otherwise to prove me wrong.
Humans are created to reason and organise activities and to discover ways for improvement of their survival, that's why they're different from other Animal kingdom.
If man becomes that naive and foolishly docile by allowing himself to be unduly exploited and oppressed by his fellow humans, then he/she becomes less than other animals psychologically and philosophically.
Exploiters and Oppressors use to apply some tricks and gimmicks (Religion, Ethnicity, Race or Region) to divide those that they oppress in order to quench revolts and rebellion (Divide and Rule tactics). Where the populace are divided, cohesion to struggle in unison for a common goal (to fight for their rights and freedom) becomes difficult.
One of the worst divisive forces that Oppressors capitalise on are the Clerics.
Some selfish, sycophants and bootlickers among the religious clerics especially the Islamic ones, that I know most being a Muslim myself. The general thing the Islamic clerics tell their followers is: "You mustn't rebel or dispute leaders, leaders are supposed to be obeyed no matter how bad they are".
They based the above claims on some fabricated lies that came in some created Hadith by the oppressive regime of the notorious Banu Umayyah. They fabricated these lies in order to incapacitate the populace against rebellion so that they remain in power unchallenged.
Historically we know that it was the Banu Umayyah that initiated rebellion in this Ummah by revolting against an unanimously elected Khilafa of Amirul - Mu'umineena Aliyu bin Abi Dalib (AS), by establishing a parallel government in Sham (present Syria). Banu Umayyah after achieving what they wanted to achieve clearing all the obstacles on their way, the power became theirs unchallenged, they got some sycophants who fabricated those Hadith that prohibits revolts and rebellion against authorities no matter how bad they are.These are sources of all our rotten Islamic clerics that they use to buttress and encourage bad governance and to deceive the foolish followers.
True Islam never tolerate subjugation and degradation of self to an Oppressor system,
Islam is always against exploitation and oppression of the weak and the vulnerable.
They're many authentic Hadith that emphasize this. This very popular one suffices:
من راي منكم منكرا فليغيره بيده و إن لم يستطع فبلسانه و إن لم يستطع فبقلبه و ذلك أضعف الإيمان.
Meaning:
"Any one of you that sees atrocities (bad governance included) being committed, he should change it by his hand (by force) , if he can't do that, then challenge it by mouth (campaigns and mobilization included) , if can't do this too, then he should hate it in his heart, but the latter is of the weakest in faith."
Ideally no one amongst us will want to be identified with the weakest in faith, hence struggle in action and words are more preferred in the sight of Allah (SWT) and more compatible with the Shari'ah. One can't just keep mute and incapacitated against oppressive system, by being naive, docile and foolishly submissive, relying on prayers alone.
We of course pray but actions most instantaneously be taken simultaneously.
One can't just sit down in his/her house or in Mosques or Churches praying and be expecting miracles to change bad systems. God's wisdom doesn't work like that. One must strive and struggle to achieve the set goals, then and only then God's intervention comes based on your sincerity of purpose.
Allah says in the holy Qur'an :
والذين جاهدوا فينا لنهدينهم سبلنا إن الله لمع المحسنين
سورة العنكبوت. ٦٩
Meaning :
Any one that strive and struggle in our cause, We shall verily guide him in our way, definitely Allah is with those that are righteous (sincerity of purpose). Suratul - Ankabuut verse 69. Allah (SWT) clearly favours and prefer those that struggle and strive over those that remain docile and naive.
There's a saying referred to Imam Ali (AS) in relation to this :
(ظهر الفساد فلا منكر مغير بيده و لا زاجر مزدجر، افبهذا تريدون أن تجاوروا الله في دار قدسه)
Meaning :
"Atrocities are committed openly and no one to change that with his hand (by force), and no one to speak against it (campaign and awareness), and with this your naivity and docility you cherish the neighbourhood of Allah in the house of honour and hallows."
