1 month, as of tomorrow, we got to meet this little dude. As a result, we took time away from here to focus on spending time together, with him and Isla. Mariajosé is doing great, her labor and delivery went really well, and she's starting to feel like herself again! Isla immediately jumped into the role of big sis and has loved every moment of having a little brother. The dogs are a little more receptive to him than they ever were with Isla, but they're still content being as far from both kids as possible. We plan on being back with some videos this weekend and I think we're going to try to post more frequently than once per week for a while. Wish us luck.

Everyone meet Asher.

So by now you know we've added some color to the interior. I repainted the kitchen/living room a slightly less white color. It has a subtle hint of green/brown to it and really adds some texture, or so I think.

But can we take a moment of silence and then a slow clap for the fact that our bedroom has a TON of color and Mariajosé stepped away from only neutrals. I'm so proud of her.

The color changes dramatically based on lighting and I for one really like it. Our cabinets and decorative touch will tie it all together, I'm sure of it.

Well, this week we finally nixed two of the three kitchen layout options we've been bouncing around for weeks. The truth is, both of the ditched layouts were weird and didn't flow with the bus at all.

So, yesterday I designed, programmed, and cut out this cute base cabinet pantry for Mariajosé. It's a great place to store bulk and canned goods.

We also finally got around to painting the inside of the bus, and I'm totally stoked that our almond wall outlets and switch plates are almost an exact color match for the kitchen and living room.

You might also notice that our windows are finally framed. We had two different options we liked, and somehow managed to create a perfect hybrid of the two. The sides and top are inset, and the lower ledge is a little deeper and outset. We haven't decided on a paint or stain for the windows yet, but the bus is really starting to feel special and like it's coming together.

I hope you're enjoying the little updates here and the videos we put out every week or two. Love and appreciate you more than you know!

Been thinking about this comment a lot. Next build video will premiere Sunday morning and it's starting to look good.

We're bringing a TON of updates tomorrow at 11 AM Central Time. These go back to Dec 6 and finish off just about a week ago. We're also changing our upload schedule to Saturdays. The weekend just seems like the best long term solution for bringing our videos to everyone and we'd love to see each and every one of you all here with us.

I've made a few GIFs of what we've got coming up. See you Saturday!

We're moving forward on the bus and here's a quick update on what's happening.

Over the past couple of days, I've been tackling the wiring loom, removing about 65 pounds of unnecessary wires – a real copper spaghetti mess! You might also have noticed some changes to the roof ceiling; we've got plans for those areas and will share more soon. I'll more than likely start wiring for 120v/12v today, and even making a few holes in the bus!

In other news, we're finally starting to post on Patreon. This is for anyone interested in exploring other aspects of our lives, our build process, our jobs, behind the scenes stuff, etc. We have a wide range of tiers available, including one dedicated to build consultations. Here, we can offer remote design advice, insights, suggestions, and help with project estimates.

Rest assured that our YouTube content will remain as it is and we'll never limit anything that would have ended up here anyway. Patreon will simply offer more, like early video releases, livestreams, dedicated discord chats, and behind-the-scenes content that likely wouldn't have made it to YouTube to begin with. This expansion is about adding value and not about limiting our existing YouTube offerings.
