It’s been almost half a year since ‘Get your fking Laws off my Body’ came out and it’s been incredible to hear it DJ’d, celebrated and used to empower through the year. To continue this important and fundamental message that all our bodies have the right to their autonomy we have three beautiful remixes coming out on Listen Generously + The Chateau. Each remix creates a new way to say ‘Get your fking Laws off my Body’ keeping the message fresh in our minds and us all dancing.
The first remix comes from the quties* FAFF on October 18th but we have just leaked it early on the PTR bandcamp - link in the comments

'Get Your Fckin Laws Off My Body' has been out for just over a month now and the love for the track - be it live at Glastonbury, clips me DJ friends have sent me, or bumping into fans on the street and all the streams has been so beautiful and means so much to me. So so grateful for this incredible support and the help to get this important message out!
We’ve made a visualiser for the track edited by kocha_ using footage from our pre-release party beautifully shot by vic lentaigne and milo van giap featuring all the trans* queer angels who played, performed and danced at Peckham Audio. Full version on the PTR YouTube.
Special thanks again to everyone who performed♥️

I made a bunch of remixes before my top surgery at the end of 2022 and so it’s lovely to see them all slowly being released. Really like the original version of Jagara's ‘Into the Night’ and loved bringing it to the dance floor with my remix version. Enjoy X

I was so touched when @i.jordan asked me to join them at @abbeyroad and produce a track together. I’m a big fan of them and we’d been talking about making something together for a while so the timing was perfect. We had a lot of fun and I’m very excited about the track which you can hear a little of in the clip and which will be out later this year💗
This session also happened just a few weeks before my top surgery which made it an extra special moment for which I’m very grateful to have shared and captured together with Jordan.
It was the last track I sang on before my op and the first track i sang on after surgery 🥹

Summer feels very far away given I’m knee deep in snow here Tallinn. Exited to announce that I’m playing @OfficialMeltFestival next year! #melt2023

Had a lot of fun producing this ‘Planningtohope’ remix for @hotchipofficial. I re-pitched the lead vocal, as I often loved to do, to create a slightly different melody and emotion from the original. Enjoy 💜

I love how Emilyn Claid communicates their age as being in their 7th decade. As a trans nb queer in their 5th decade it was a great pleasure to produce 'Visible,' a 10 minute-long dance track journey for their piece ’Skinned.’ Full of passion and heavy breathe, the track reflects whats inside Emilyn’s performance piece which is about visibility, seeing and being seen, cruising and hunting within a queer context. I wanted to create a track that felt hot and tender with a sense of excited urgency.

Feeling 🔥 Feeling 👀
Transitioning as a public person can be a challenge and I have good days and bad days.
So today I'm super happy to share some new press pics where I feel hot and visible 🙂

or this new track, 'Planningtoconfuse,' Tyler Holmes and I wanted to turn what was originally intended to be a remix into more of a collaboration between us and so Tyler created new vocal parts that gently move through the track and sound so beautiful. And the gorgeous artwork was made by Lise Silva Gomes (@lisesilva on IG)

Planningtorock – aka Jam Rostron – is a Bolton-born Berlin-based singer-songwriter, composer, producer and director with four critically acclaimed studio albums of left-field dance to their name – not to mention various collaborations, operas, film scores and remixes. A self-taught, non-binary, working-class musician, they’ve spent a decade plus queering sound and vision as Planningtorock.
Planningtorock debuted in the Noughties with 2006’s Have It All, finding artistic community among fellow DIY outliers and gender outlaws such as Peaches and The Knife. 2014’s All Love’s Legal (“A masterclass in left-of-centre dance music” - Mixmag) released on Rostron's own imprint Human Level, showcased their ability to combine pop-oriented music with a political message. On 2018’s Powerhouse Rostron paid tribute to their childhood and family.
