The number 1 mistake that brings your winrate down.
I'm talking about rage queueing. Tilting costs players hundreds of RR every season.
đ§ If your last match tilted you, donât queue again. Do anything else:
â Watch a VOD
â Do aim drills
â Touch grass (seriously)

Good aim, but you're not ranking up?
Daniel (Dipdart) was in the same spot. His aim was sharp, but he was stuck in Gold 2 and couldnât figure out why he wasnât climbing. He wasnât throwing games, he just felt like he wasnât improving.
We quickly realized the problem wasnât his aim but when and how he was taking fights. Heâd round corners too early, trace too wide, or pre-aim too soon, giving enemies the advantage even when he had better raw aim.
So we drilled one core concept: track corners while quickly moving to new positions or rotating, slice the pie when youâre unsure of the enemyâs position and only pre-aim once you're intentionally trying to peek and fight. That small shift helped him win way more fights, clear smarter, and stop walking into angles unprepared.
Fast forward 10 weeks, and heâs Diamond 1, slicing corners with intent, winning chaotic duels, and finally making his aim count.
Hereâs what made the difference:
- He fixed his pre-aim timing. He tracks the angle while rotating, then pre-aims when heâs ready to peek.
- He stopped rushing shots. Slows down just enough to lead with his crosshair and get the first shot off clean.
- He broke the knife-out habit. Now heâs always ready to trade or swing.
- He stopped wide swinging into stacked angles. Uses jiggles or utility instead.
- He simplified his mechanics. Clean strafe-bursts and tight spacing instead of messy sprays.

- Holding your ult for 8 rounds just wastes value.
