āØNew Video AlertāØ
Hey guys just wanted to let yāall know thereās a new video posted. Kaidale showed off some higher levels of communication (attempting to negotiate with me for candy lol) we explored a cemeteryš„“, got caught in the rain, and then went to gymnastics class where I couldnāt help but feel like people were trying not to stare at us. Obviously Kaidale is a little loud and different, so naturally people are curious. So I had this thought pop into my head. Instead of teaching our kids the manner of ānot staringā why not embrace them staring and encourage them to go say hi to the person that they are curious about! Wouldnāt that be a cool new perspective to inclusion & awareness?

I am so proud of my sweet boy for all that he has accomplished so far in life. It is an understatement to say that he continues to amaze me every day and is one of the most intelligent people I know. Lately Iāve been so impressed with his ability to learn and apply math concepts to real life. Check out todayās video to see more details of his ability to learn mathāŗļø

So proud of my sweet boy for getting his hair cut. He has not been a fan of washing/fixing his long locks lately so I decided it was time to go get them trimmed. Kaidale didnāt love the actual process of getting his hair cut but he tolerated it and pushed through. Go check out todayās video to see my big boy rock it at the barber!

With much inspiration from friends and other channels I am ecstatic to be starting my own youtube channel! This channel is all about me, my son, and AUTISM. Autism means so many different things to so many different people, but there is no denying the numbers. 1 in 59 children are currently being diagnosed with autism. As a single mom, I didn't know the first thing about autism when my son, Kaidale, was diagnosed at the age of 2 years old. We have come a long way since then but it wasn't easy. Autism doesn't have to be scary or intimidating. I have actually learned through the years to love and embrace my sons autism for what it is and who he is. There is not one thing about him that I am not completely obsessed with. However, the world has a different perspective on autism and it isn't easy to navigate this world for people on the spectrum. I am starting this channel because I want to bring awareness and be an advocate for autism.
