Hey Laserologists!
I have been having a great time exploring the new Emblaser Pro, this laser is wild... I honestly never thought a diode laser could do what it does! But I have been getting a number of requests from viewers about how to set things up.
To help, I have a number of short, direct to the point videos I'll be releasing, as I put together the final set up video and show you how this laser works!
THEN... IT'S SHOWTIME! Can't wait to get back to kicking out some Lightburn project with the Emblaser PRo.
More time for Making!!!

WOW! This video marks the end of an era!
So much has happened in the last 12 months, but this video is the last tutorial video I made in our old home before we had to unexpectedly leave!
So much had been created in my old office, and it was emotional leaving after all the hours of live-streaming and content creation. So many great memories.
Right now we are rushing to put together a new studio together, as well as getting ready to head off to the US for Lightburn Experience. So much to share... Stay tuned.

Hi there Laserologists!
I hope you are all well and creating some fantastic projects :)
I wanted to take a moment and share with you what has been going on for me outside of the laser world.
You might have noticed that over the last few months, I have not been able to keep up with the built engagement, both here and on other social media platforms. I'm not one to complain or share issues outside of what we are all here to discuss, but a few months ago, my family and I had to deal with an event that we were unprepared for.
Over the last few months, I have done my best to continue with the livestreams, build up new tutorials and be there for my family as we navigated this new direction. I honestly had no idea what was coming next. I did not doubt that I could just throw myself into my work and power through.
I could never have been more wrong.
During this last week, the last few month's tolls have added up, and apart from catching a kick-ass cold that slowed me down, all the other stress, worry and exhaustion finally got the better.
In the end, I fell over.
The physical stuff will pass, and the emotional stuff will pass, but right now, I need to make sure that I also don't pass!
That might sound dramatic, and I personally hate to think I have to stop, but right now, I have been told directly that I need to take some time off.
So for now, I am going to put the Livestream on hold. I have tutorial videos in the works and look forward to finding the strength to finish them.
This is not the end but the beginning of a new chapter for the Livestream. I also want to take some time pivoting the project into a more maintainable one, sharing with you what I love about lasers and making.
When I started this, laser technology was not the significant focus it is now. Many people are now sharing their knowledge and wisdom (learn from everyone), and I know some personal projects I shared on the Livestream have grabbed my interest. I plan to share more of that moving forward. I don't think I'll be abandoning Lightburn tutorials. They will still flow; I love sharing what I know, especially around projects that inspire and are fun. But for right now, I need to spend some time with my family, make sure they are safe, and make sure I am too.
This post is a little longer than I planned. Thank you to everyone who has contributed and touched base with me these last few months. I plan this will be a small break, and I will let you know how things are going.
Till then... go make something amazing!

Hey Laserologists,
So looking forward to tomorrow's Laser Livestream, but due to a nasty cold (not COVID) and a voice that is flacking out on me, we are going to push it till next week.
Going to use my laser to heat up some tea and lemon, and I'll see you all next week.
Stay safe and go make something amazing!

In just over 24 hours, Gil talks with a Laserologist that not only has been involved with laser technology since its introduction outside the manufacturing field but someone who has had a ground floor looks at some of the most influential laser software available to Makers and hobbyists today.
Love to see you there live
You won't want to miss this one!
