All of dog training can be explained by 1 simple rule:
"Make it good to be good and bad to be bad."
The HARD PART is that your dog typically finds the "bad behaviors" good (which is why they do them), and they find the "good behaviors" bad (which is why they ignore you).
Here's the solution...
Step 1: Find what your dog likes. Attach that to the good behaviors that you want to see repeated.
Step 2: Find what your dog doesn't like. Attach that to bad behaviors that you want to go away.
Mastery of this simple rule IS dog training.
