āWhy me, God?ā That was the question I used to ask over and over. Growing up with divorced parents and constant changes that were out of my control, I struggled to understand where God fit into my life. I went to church, and would feel embarrassment. I didnāt understand how people could believe in God when thereās so much hurt in the world. I sinned, I denied Jesus, and felt lost in my beliefs. To be honest, my rejection of Christianity stemmed from my own rejection from people who called themselves āChristianā but would judge, exclude, bully, and manipulate others in the name of the Lord. I found a lot of Christians I came across to be hypocrites, using their religion as a deflection to true inner work and self reflection.
Despite this, I did believe in God- I just didnāt like the word āGodā sometimes. I personified āGodā in my mind as some stinky old man whoās looking down on people and judging them. However, Two years ago, everything changed for me. I was working a Friday night shift when I suddenly felt the urge to call my grandparents. My Opa (grandpa) answered and told me, āYour Oma (grandma) just fainted, go tell the family.ā I was the first to know my Oma had a strokeābecause God told me. That night in the hospital, as we said goodbye to her, I felt the Holy Spirit for the first time. I would always have synchronicities happen in my life telling me that God was there, and I started to pray to him. In times I was confused, I chose faith and trust. Eventually, I found a church that aligned with my faith and heart. I surrounded myself with people who worshiped God, not politicized him. And most importantly, I submitted to Jesus because I was ready to not because I was forced.
I got baptized on Sunday, and the night before I was praying to God telling him how much I missed my Oma. Coincidentally, right after I got baptized a girl came up to me from one of my classes Iām taking this semester at my university. Her name is Oma. At that point I never spoke a word to her yet since we sat at opposite ends of the class but every time my professor would take attendance, I would think to myself how cool it was that her name is Oma. When she came up to me after my baptism I knew I had made the right decision, since I was unaware we went to the same church. Jesus will always let you know youāre on the right path through synchronicities like that.

Hi everyone!
I just uploaded a new video, and a few people mentioned in the comments that Tam Kaur and I uploaded about the same topic very close together. I love her videos, but I didn't "copy" and wanted to use this as a teaching moment to show you guys how most YouTubers get their content ideas!
I recorded this video on December 3rd (the edited video was finished on the 5th which is in the screenshot) and I used search optimization in YouTube Studio to choose my topic. This seemed to be a highly searched-for topic that you guys are interested in! Tam uploaded her video on December 6th, but either way we both talk about different things and have a different video style. I give credit where credit is due, but I already had this scheduled to upload when I saw she posted about the same thing. āØ
Let's talk about "originality" really fast! Originality is largely a myth in the world of content creation. Every topic has been touched on, every angle explored, and every story told in some form before. What makes content truly unique is not the absolute novelty of the subject matter but the individual perspective, personal experiences, and distinctive style that each creator brings to the table. Great content is about providing value, offering your unique insights, and connecting with your audience in a way that resonates with them.
There's nothing wrong with saying you were inspired by a topic, but in this case, a lot of creators choose their topics with SEO optimization through YouTube Studio, creating some similar ideas. That being said, I watched her video and I absolutely loved her perspectives :)
