This week's daily affirmation is: "No matter how I am feeling right now, I will show up for myself and others who are waiting to read the words that I write. I will keep showing up each day."
This one rings true for me probably more than any of the previous cards. I show up for more than just writing, though. It's in my nature to help, and I feel like I let others down when I don't. It's why I tried to maintain the YouTube channel for eight years before getting monetized and why I try to blog as often as I can. To help and connect writers with their chosen paths.
It's not the fortune and glory that keeps me doing what I do. It's you. It's my readers. It's those who have told me "thank you" when I've created a helpful piece of content.
Perhaps one day, I'll make more than $5 per day. Regardless of the income, though, I'll keep writing and showing up.

On July 19th, I'll be at BrewDog with several authors for a book signing, meet-n-greet. If you're in the Denver area, be sure to stop by and hang out with us from 1pm to 4pm that Saturday. I know I'm bringing a few bucks for books and beer.

This week's daily affirmation is: "I will create stories that are complex, interesting, and believable. I will create content that someone cannot wait to get their hands on."
It's a nice sentiment, focusing on getting you pumped up to write something great. As a blogger, this is something I strive to accomplish on a daily basis. And dealing with Google's algorithm is such an insane pain. Still, I always work to produce the best content I can, whether it's a quick tutorial or working on my book.

This week's daily affirmation is: "I can find inspiration anytime and anywhere. Whenever I think I'm stuck, I just focus on my life's theme. What do I value? What do I stand for? Then, I let my pen move."
Now, I don't necessarily have a theme for life. I do, however, have theme songs for every book that helps motivate me while helping me visualize elements of my book. I write quite cinematically, and the music helps focus the parts I want most in the story.
