So I've just come back from a wee trip to Singapore, where I filmed some really nice videos at different places after a very negative first experience at a local brewery. Just read some of the really "butt hurt" comments from this guys fan boys, who are obviously sharing it around their groups! LOL

Today, RampantLionReviews turns 10 years old!
When I consider when and how the channel channel all started, its just completely insane to think how far everything has come since the first video was published in July 2013.
A massive thank you to all of you who have contributed to the channel over these last 10 years and please raise a glass to the next 10!
To celebrate, there will be some interesting and unusual beer reviews coming up over the next while and I also commissioned some new channel artwork from a certain Johan Jonsson, who really has done a wonderful job with it! So about a week or so ago I went to Edinburgh to meet up with the legendary John of@JohnsDrams. The plan had been to feature him in one of my "Out and About" videos, (but unfortunately due to the restrictions we couldn't really film any of the places I had in mind) and for me to feature in one of his videos.
John has put together this awesome video of our trip to Diggers in Gorgie in Edinburgh where we try the house 80/- Scotch Ale and the Ardbeg Grooves.

A new first: a dislike on an as-of-yet unaired live video. Couple this with the illiterate comments of the Hooligan and his posse and you just have to laugh...keep them coming lads - give me 6 dislikes for Satan on every video! 🤣 🤘

Some exciting news:
From next week RampantLionReviews will be going 5K!
(4k, 8k, 16k sure - I thought it went in powers and didn't know 5 was possible!)
I had been planning to upgrade the camera in time for review #3000, but with the death of the memory card slot in my trusty Sony it seemed time to bring it forward. With with the upcoming (& Covid Permitting) New England and England Tours among others it seems like a good investment. I had considered looking at a Samsung Galaxy S21 and filming on my phone, but one review proved too annoying and so GoPro Hero9 it is!
You can also look forward to the imminent return of "Meet the Brewery" and "Out & About" segments on the channel later in the year and I'll look into a "plug in" microphone to complement these too!
