CivicSciTV is a broadcasting network with programs that cover new scholarship, practice, & lived experiences across the landscape of civic science. The goal: make civic science more accessible, informative, and actionable for scientists, science communicators, science journalists, science educators, funders, entrepreneurs, & the broader publics in real time.
The network is being built by the Civic Science Media Lab (CS Media Lab), a Boston-centered civic science news collective covering the latest local, national, and global civic science developments on TV, digital print, and radio through CivicSciTV, CivicSciTimes, and CivicSciRadio respectively. Programs include Questions of the Day, Changemakers, the Perspective, QuickTake, Consider This Next, and others.
The CS Media Lab is directed by former neuroscientist turned civic science scholar-journalist Dr. Fanuel Muindi who is a Professor of Practice in the College of Arts, Media, and Design (CAMD) at Northeastern University.
