One of the questions I get asked the most is: “What apps do you actually use to plan your trips?” So, I decided to put everything down in one easy list.

These are my go-to travel apps that make every trip smoother, from planning to landing. If you use any apps that aren’t mentioned here but you swear by them, I’d love to hear about them too, drop them in the comments below! ❤️⬇️

In my next few posts, I'll show you some fun day trips you can take from Athens! 🇬🇷

If you've been following me, you know I've fallen in love with this city. But let's face it, during the hot summer days, escaping to a beachy spot is perfect.

Today, I want to share some pictures from Nafplio, a beautiful town that was Greece's first capital. We also visited the Acropolis of Nafplio, which offers the most amazing views of the town.

While you're there, make sure to take a break and enjoy a delicious lunch, coffee, or drink at one of the cozy cafes or restaurants. I highly recommend stopping at Taverna Vyzantio: address Vasileos Alexandrou 15, Nafplio 211 00, the food was superb and the street where it is located so so pretty covered in colourful trees.

If you are in for a swim the Argolis region where Nafplio is located has one of Greece's most famous beaches, Arvanitia. Unfortunately, it was raining when we visited, so we couldn't swim. However, we had a great time wandering around the town and have added it to our bucket list for a future trip to spend a few nights there!

Don't forget to download my FREE itinerary, which has everything you need to plan the same trip we did!

📚 The Most Beautiful Library in the World - Admont Abbey Library in Austria

Admont Abbey Library in Austria is often regarded as the most beautiful library in the world. We visited during the COVID, so if you look closely at the picture, you'll notice I am wearing a mask and had to take the photo facing to the side.

Although the Admont Monastery is a bit of a drive, it was absolutely worth it. We drove about two hours from Styria to get there. By the way, if you haven't checked out Styria in Austria, you should! It's often called the Tuscany of Austria, filled with vineyards and offering an amazing travel experience. I have the link to the itinerary in my bio! Check it out, and you will thank me for sure!

Admont Abbey was the inspiration behind the library in "Beauty and the Beast," and as a huge fan, I just had to visit. For those wondering where Admont Abbey Library is located, it sits in the heart of Austria, between Graz and Salzburg. It houses nearly 200,000 books, making it one of the largest monastic libraries in the world. Its construction began in 1774 and was completed in 1776.

Can you take photos in Admont Abbey Library? Yes, you can, but please refrain from using flash or a tripod. Photos are allowed for personal use only. Using a tripod classifies as "professional photography" and requires written permission or a signed photographer's contract, which must be arranged 3-5 working days in advance. No! Wedding shoots are not permitted in the monastery library.

Recently, I was browsing Threads, a popular social media platform and came across a post asking, "What is the most overrated destination you have ever visited?" To my surprise, the person asking the question mentioned Italy! I couldn't believe what I was reading. Sure, like every country, Italy has areas that are more attractive than others, but calling the entire country overrated seems crazy to me!

You can read the full blog here! And I have included some beautiful pictures of Italy to give you some tips where you can go 💙

Ribera del Duero Wine Region, Spain! Here are two stops you must add to your itinerary!

Peñafiel Castle and the town of Peñafiel!!

The castle was declared a National Monument in 1917 but unfortunately offers tours exclusively in Spanish, however it's still well worth the visit for its breathtaking panoramic views of the vineyards and surrounding countryside. Also, wine fans will be delighted to discover the Provincial Wine Museum, located within the castle grounds!

Peñafiel town may be small, but its rich in wine and history. The town is full of caves that were traditionally used to store the wine because of the constant temperature they kept all year round. These caves have drains for ventilation and to remove the gases generated by the fermentation of the wine.

📍 Zamora, Spain 🇪🇸

Located in the Castile and Leon area it is very close to the border of Portugal and sits beside the Douro River.

Since it's not too big, you can easily walk around, you will literally feel like you've stepped back in time to the medieval period!

One cool thing we found in Zamora was a bunch of white storks living right by our apartment. 😱

If you like visiting churches, Zamora is perfect! There are 24 Romanesque churches in total (14 in the old part of town), and they're definitely worth seeing. I'll tell you more about them in my next reel!

❓ I'm curious, ever heard of this place before?
