For any Doctor Who fans who might be still around from my video last year, I finally got around to watching Joy to the World and recorded a full commentary which is up FOR FREE now on Patreon. I will be making weekly commentaries for series 15 at the Vault Tier though, which will become free later in the year once the series has concluded and some time has passed, same as I did for series 14. But for now, the Christmas ep is free.

If you've ever wondering what an Assassin's Creed Brotherhood retrospective from me would be like if I desperately tried to keep it under 5 minutes, then wonder no longer!
I had a section in the newest collaborative project from @Zanyverse which brings together a bunch of different creators to celebrate the games of 2010. I, of course, covered Brotherhood (because nobody else is touching that shit). Gamers... I know it's been some time but my AC2 retrospective is FINALLY complete. I'll be putting it out (hopefully) this weekend.
To answer the question I keep getting of "Why did you make another video on AC2?" the answer is simply that I don't like the first one. I think my AC1 video marked a new era for me in terms of the stuff I make and how I make it, the depth to my writing and how I try to explore the stuff I talk about. I carried that same style into my other stuff and again into my video on AC4. Making those AC videos and the other stuff I made over 2023/24 made me realise that I have so much more to say about games I'd already technically covered.
This new AC2 video is almost 5x the length of my original AC2 video and this one doesn't even play cutscenes in full all the time with an annoying boom sound every. single. time. This will be my definitive look at AC2 in the same style and format as my videos on AC1 and Black Flag, and I'm sure at some point I'll do the same for Brotherhood and Revelations (although I think my Rev video has aged pretty well to be honest). I talk more about this though in the outro of the AC2 video itself, if you care about my plans for future videos, including Assassin's Creed, watch my "post-amble" at the end.
This thing took me an insane amount of time to make and I'm really happy with how it came out, and I'm really REALLY looking forward to putting it out into the world. I hope you enjoy when it drops.

Thought I’d share this for anyone who loved that first Assassin’s Creed game like I do. The original (and best) voice of Altair did a little project where he integrated lines from the game across the cinematic trailer but with the authentic Arabic accent, it’s a pretty wonderful look into what could’ve been had he returned for Revelations in a lot of ways. Really cool stuff. (Phillip is also a great dude, had a chat with him over on Jazz Lounge on Patreon, which is available for all free members)
