Sync My Music is the #1 platform for music producers and com
in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
VERY successful launch of Sync Match this past Friday with well over 150 Sync Academy members signing up within the first day! πΎ π
Already getting some great feedback/suggestions from early members and making meaningful updates to the platform.
π One new feature: all TagMatch results will now include genre, mood & genre + mood matches categories. These help give a better sense of what kinds of placements are happening near and around your style of music.
Tip: If your recommended tracks sound similar to yours, you're likely on a strong path with your approach. π
If the tracks don't sound much like yours at all, it could be an indication that a slight adjustment is needed to make your music even more in-demand. π‘
The entire point of this app is to help producers find out where they fit into the current TV Sync marketplace - and adjust accordingly.
If you want to thrive in Sync, you've got to SERVE in Sync. π€
And this app can help you become a much more accurate server to the TV market.
It's still in "early-access" phase with only Sync Academy members getting access. Public release is TBD.

Imagine instead of having to physically watch a variety of TV shows to find out what production music is getting placed on TV, you could just open an app to get all that data instantly. (& know the Libraries who supplied the music) ππ
Let's play the "what if" game:
What if we knew what specific tracks are CURRENTLY getting placed on TV & which Libraries supplied them...
...And we could use the metadata associated with these tracks to get key insights as to what genres, moods, instruments & tempos get placed more often.
And then perhaps we could apply those same tags to OUR tracks to get paired with Libraries, TV Shows & Channels that have recently secured placements with similar music?! π€―
Example: if you produced guitar oriented pop rock tracks with female vocals in the 120-150bpm range, you'd get matched with Libraries that have recently supplied that specific type of music (as in the last 2 months).
You'd also know which specific TV Channels & Shows have recently used your style of music as well. πΊ
This kind of information is like pulling open a dark curtain that's never fully been opened to us.
This app could actually help producers find their place in this industry, not based on hunches or guesses...but with real marketplace data. π―
Well you'll only have to imagine it for a few more weeks b/c I'm building this app right now...
It's not easy or cheap to pull this off, but I'm doing it.
Should have it launched publicly by May. More updates soon π

Imagine an app that listens to all broadcast tv channels, analyzing all music placements for insights about most used genres, tempos, keys, lyric topics, etc AND can reveal the libraries who secured each placement.
How valuable with that be to you?

That's how many members we have in Sync Academy. And guess what? Only about 100 of them are fully participating with 'Sync Focus'. This is an example of how the industry might "feel" over crowded when you begin, but there's only a small percentage that really put in the required effort. If you want to become a part of that 10%, hop in: syncmymusic.com/bundleorder
