Micky has been immersed in music for as long as he can remember. As a child he studied classical violin and piano, but his passion lay in rock, folk and pop music. This led him to teach himself how to play guitar and sing - the talents which would attract over 2.3M followers on TikTok.
Mickyâs first viral video was of Ed Sheeranâs âGive Me Loveâ in 2020. He posted it just for fun but the response was overwhelming, with fans requesting a full version. The release was followed by covers of Noah Cyrusâs âJulyâ and Amy MacDonaldâs âThis Is The Lifeâ. These added to Mickyâs massive streaming numbers, which have exceeded 250M across all platforms.
âI think the purpose of music is to help youâ, Micky says, explaining his inspiration. âI hope people can connect with my music and get something from it that helps them progress in their life journeyâ.
