Hey Everyone! If you're into sports or personal development, I think you will like my new free newsletter! Every week I share a lesson from the greatest athletes and coaches of all time. Check it out here: exponentialathlete.beehiiv.com/subscribe

I realize the ‪@ExponentialAthlete‬ podcast is a pretty big commitment. The episodes are long with a lot of information packed in them. This newsletter is a way for me to distill the lessons into short, actionable, and informative insights. I hope you enjoy!

Are you feeling burned out or like you're cracking under the pressure of learning? There may be a lesson to learn from how elite athletes handle pressure. This week on the ‪@ExponentialAthlete‬ podcast, I interviewed Dr. Davis, a Harvard trained psychiatrist and sports performance coach about the mental health challenges facing athletes and the tools they use to manage them.

Is it even worth it to compete as an Olympic Team Member? On this week's episode of the ‪@ExponentialAthlete‬ I interviewed Dave Durante, a Gymnast with an incredible story. We talk about what it is like to be a part of Team USA and all the highs and lows that come with it. We also talk about the future of Men's Gymnastics which unfortunately looks fairly bleak.

Excited to share that I had the opportunity to interview one of my heroes this week on the ‪@ExponentialAthlete‬! His name is Bob Bowman, and he is the legendary coach who guided Michael Phelps and Leon Marchand to their gold medals. This interview isn't just about swimming, it is about finding success in any domain. I'd love it if you gave it a watch!

On this week's episode of the ‪@ExponentialAthlete‬, I had the opportunity to speak with two Green Berets that oversee the Special operations forces assessment and selection process. In this episode there are lessons in leadership, teamwork, and adversity for anyone from athletes to business leaders. I hope you enjoy!

Are you getting enough sleep? During this week's episode of the ‪@ExponentialAthlete‬ with Dr. Grandner, I learned that one of the first symptoms of insufficient sleep is underestimating how impaired you are. This can really hurt your performance. If you're interested in getting better sleep, using the power of naps, or just want to understand sleep better, this episode is for you!

For anyone struggling with mental health, you aren't alone. Even the greatest athletes and entrepreneurs face similar challenges. In this week's episode of the ‪@ExponentialAthlete‬, I take a deep dive into how sports can play a negative and positive role in mental health. I also provide information, resources, and protocols for anyone who wants to better understand what is going on in their head.

To clarify, I am not a medical professional, and this should not be considered medical advice. These are just my observations from the research I've done. You should consult with a professional if you have more questions about any of these topics.
