As a little boy joined by my dad watching all the action in Soesterberg, Leeuwarden en Twenthe airport.
I remember as well the "luchtmachtdagen'. I wanted to become a fighter pilot but I found out that I had zero talent for Maths.
I found out that watching militairy airplanes and helicopters was the next best thing and I try to infect my childeren with the same virus.
Als klein jongetje stond ik met mijn vader te kijken naar de vliegtuigen die opstegen en landden op Soesterberg, Leeuwarden en Twenthe.
Ik kan me ook heel goed de 'luchtmachtdagen' herinneren. Natuurlijk was het mijn droom om zelf ook piloot te worden, maar toen ik erachter kwam dat ik absoluut geen talent had voor wiskunde, werd het kijken naar militaire vliegtuigen en helicopters een hobby. Nu probeer ik (met succes) mijn eigen kinderen te besmetten van dit virus!
