Hi! This channel has videos related to the classes I teach, kinesiology and neurological physical therapy exercise for physical therapy assistant students at Morton College, in Cicero, IL. In time I hope to add more, related to these classes as well as medical terminology and Tai Chi.
The primary text that we use for kinesiology is Donald Neumann's "Kinesiology of the Musculosketetal System" 2nd edition. We also use "The Trail Guide to the Body", 4th ed. by Andrew Biel. The Trail Guide is the reference I use for most origin and insertions, with occasional modifications.
For PNF I have taken my information from the primary text we use "Neurological Interventions for Physical Therapy" 2nd edition by Martin and Kessler. The chapter is written by physical therapists certified in PNF. I am not certified in PNF and everything I demonstrate is from that chapter.
