Anyone else ride a bike with a stoma? I love ultra-distance cycling, and managing an ostomy bag can be challenging at times. Do you have any tips to share? I'm hoping to have some new content addressing some of the challenges and what works for me. (The selfie was taken at the halfway point of my 240km ride... did I mention that I love ultra-distance cycling? LOL).

Attention guys living with IBD: Join me tonight (June 25th @ 7pm EST) on Twitter as I co-host the next IBD Social Circle chat with two awesome patient advocates (one is a doctor!)! This event is free and you can follow it by searching for the #IBDSC hashtag or following my twitter handle at twitter.com/veganostomy.
We will discuss questions, challenges, and the male patient experience of living with IBD. Everyone is welcome.
I hope to see you there!
Eric
Disclosure: Janssen paid for my time to advise on this tweet chat. All thoughts and opinions expressed during the chat are my own.

Many people living with an ostomy are concerned about whether supplies will be available in the near future as the COVID-19 pandemic seems to be causing a crap ton of closures and disruptions.
I've reached out to quite a few ostomy product manufacturers to find out what their position is. Many have already posted a statement publicly, and many haven't said anything yet.
Here's what I could find: www.veganostomy.ca/ostomy-supplies-covid19-coronav…

7000 subs! Thank you all.
I know that some of you who've been following my channel over the last few years might be wondering where the hell I've been over the past several months. Due to some unfortunate family circumstances, I haven't been able to get new videos together, although I fully intend to continue creating content for you in the near future!
Please be patient.
I'm still quite active on my online support forum (www.veganostomy.ca/community/), and I answer all (or close to all) questions posted under my YouTube videos. I've got a checklist of topics I'd like to cover, so it's only a matter of time =) Have an awesome day!

Hey guys! I just published a (written) review of the Hernia Helper ostomy belt. Check it out on my site: www.veganostomy.ca/hernia-helper-review/
I'd like to get a video review of this done at some point, but life has thrown me a few curve balls, and I can only get done what's possible at the moment.
Enjoy!

This channel is dedicated to helping people with IBD or an ostomy through product reviews, tips and commentary. My content is created from a vegan's perspective, but it's relevant to anyone.
I've been living as a vegan since 2000, was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2008, and received a permanent ileostomy in 2013. I hope that my journey and experiences can help others.
