It's time to make changes.
So many beginner guitarists get caught up in trying to play along with songs as QUICKLY as possible, sacrificing any quality along the way.
And while that may make you feel like you're making quick progress, this will stop you from playing songs WELL in the long run.
You could try to find the chords to a song and start strumming along straight away.
But until you're ready to make the chord changes quickly enough and strum in time, you're going to sound TERRIBLE.
Slow it down.

What if you could make 30 minutes of practice 4x more effective?

The 3 Reasons Why 90% of Beginner Guitarists Fail

It is widely reported that 90% of beginner guitarists fail in their first year.
And I believe that there are three key reasons that contribute to beginners failing.
Reason #1 - They Stop Having Fun
Too many beginners are given boring, repetitive exercises and drills to spend time on that drain all of the joy from guitar playing. As their joy of playing decreases, so does their motivation â leading them on a path to failure.
Reason #2 - It Takes Too Long
You didnât start guitar because you wanted to spend weeks playing the same exercises, or to finally play your first song after one week. You started because you want to be playing songs for fun as quickly as possible!
Reason #3 - They Lack Direction
Most beginner guitarists start out with great ambition, but get overwhelmed in the sea of endless possibilities â with questions like: âWhat should I learn first?â, âWhat songs should I learn?â and âHow do I continue to improve?â
Without a clear roadmap, most beginner guitarists give up because they donât know how to learn their favorite songs.
So, I guess the question is how can you be part of the 10%?
