Established in 1882, Tomita Senkougei started creating kimonos for the people of Edo in the middle of Tokyo. Releasing new hand carved prints, patterns, and designs that stole the hearts of fashionable Edo citizens, being the [tastemakers] for kimono fashion.
Fast forward 140 years, Tomita Senkougei now, has thousands of original kimono prints that accumulated throughout history.
