Bless this woman for speaking up. However, keep in mind that as a reporter of abuse, or neglect, you personally do not need to have proof. All you need is to have a suspicion of abuse in order to report it.
Remember, when you see something, please say something. I’m glad this woman finally was able to end this horror for this family. I think that if she had known that she didn’t need proof, perhaps she would have reported it right away.
