I am Ta'lor, and I am Powerless over Life, but NOT my Reaction to Life.
I created this Channel with the Intent to help other's by sharing my Personal Experience, Strength, and Hope of how I overcame Addiction. Addiction wasn't the main issue, it was just a "coping mechanism". It was Underneath the Addiction THAT NEEDED TO BE ADDRESSED. The Shame, Resentment, Guilt, Rage, People Pleasing, Trauma, low Self-esteem, Dysfunction, and me not knowing how to cope or process painful emotions in a healthy way because I was NOT taught. I was Depressed for many years, Sober, and the Motivation for me to Change NEVER Came. My entire life my Negative Mind and Inner Critic controlled my reaction to life. I had to fight against that part of me by throwing myself into Recovery the way I threw myself into Addiction and Misery. I had to Believe in Myself. Today, I can look at myself in the mirror and smile with Gratitude.
Change starts from within. Healing is a Choice, just as Suffering is a Choice.
