I just uploaded El viaje (The Journey) which got me to thinking of how much my life has changed since I recorded that piece almost four years ago: It was back in September 2021 in the middle of the pandemic, and I was 37(!) weeks pregnant with my son. I hid my baby bump well I think! 😛
I have a few more from Level 9 left to upload and then I’ve got quite a few projects in mind for my channel including overhead angle videos for the lower level pieces, as requested by my sister for my niece! 😊

While I understand that people are mostly looking for my RCM videos, it makes me feel sad that some of my absolute favourite and some of the most BEAUTIFUL music on my channel have the least amount of views... The music that I actually spent hundreds (if not, thousands) of hours practicing are the ones that nobody cares to listen to... Oof! As such, I am hoping that these next few posts will bring these underrated videos to the attention of my subscribers. I really love this music!!!

I've recently officially formed the Zuhara Duo with my dear friend, cellist Dobrochna Zubek. Listen to us playing the first movement of Rachmaninoff's beautiful cello sonata!

On the one year anniversary since I last posted(!), I just uploaded my first video for 2024... I am happy to announce that I will FINALLY be recording the Celebration Series 2022 pieces starting this spring!! I have more level 9 videos to upload that I recorded back in 2021 as some of the pieces are still either in the 2022 book, or are still in the syllabus. L'Egyptienne is one of those lucky pieces that survived to the newer version of the RCM Celebration Series! Also, sending my appreciation for all the students, teachers and parents who have continued to watch my videos and post sweet comments. I haven't been able to respond to all comments especially over the last two years but I do read all of your messages! I've just passed 4 million views and I'm almost at 9K subscribers - my goal is 10K before the end of 2024 and 5 million views! 💪

My first post of the year! 2023 update:
I'm now at 7K subscribers and have hit 3 million views on my channel - WOW! 😮 I'm happy to see so many people watching my videos! 😃
The piece I uploaded today was actually recorded back in 2021 and I have a few more level 9 pieces to upload from the 2015 series before I begin recording the Sixth Edition (2022 Series). I had a baby in the fall of 2021 which kept me incredibly busy the last 15 months but now that I've settled into a routine, I will be resuming my YouTube activity. My goal is to start uploading videos from the new books over the next couple of months (beginning with the lower levels).
Thank you all for your patience!

My first YouTube short! It's too bad there is a time limit but it still works well! 😊 I LOVE the opening of the Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No. 2 and I'm so stoked to get to play it tomorrow night!!

To all my fans from the Greater Toronto Area, if you don't already have plans next Saturday, November 5 at 7:30pm, be sure to come hear my performance of Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2 with the @SPOGreatMusic!! I am so excited because this will be my first live performance since March 2020 when Covid cancelled all concerts. I would love to see a full house there!! Also, it would be fun to meet some of my YouTube fans in person! :)
You can buy tickets at the door or at the following link (but it might sell out so you better act quickly)!! www.spo.ca/Concerts/schuberts-great-symphony/?fbcl…
To get you excited, watch my last concerto performance that I did (on six days' notice) at the Danube Palace in Budapest, Hungary of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in Sept 2019.
Also, to all the students, parents and teachers from across North America who are waiting for more RCM videos on my channel, I promise that I will be posting more videos (including pieces from the new RCM 2022 Celebration Series) in the new year! It has been an INSANELY busy year!!~
