Should you Eat BEFORE or AFTER a workout? šŸ¤”

Let's break it down!

I hit the gym early, with my last meal around 6 PM the previous evening, and I prefer fasting during my workout. Why? Eating right before means your body is focusing on digestion rather than powering your workout. šŸŒ…šŸ‹ļøā€ā™‚ļø

If you work a 9-to-5 and workout in the evening, having a meal a couple of hours before is ideal. This gives your body enough time to digest and convert that food into energy you can use for a fire workout. ā°šŸ”‹

Curious about optimizing your workout with your meal timing? Comment with 2x šŸ”„ emojis, and I'll send you my free guide, "No Weak Vegans."

Stop Training And Dieting If You Travel! āœ‹ šŸ›‘

You want to start a fitness or diet program, but you know it’s going to be hard if you travel.

You lack time, you don’t have a kitchen, and you can only eat foods provided for you.

It's what a loser or victim will say!

Stop with the excuses and learn how to make fitness a lifestyle!

Your health doesn’t care about your excuses!

Right now, I’m in Las Vegas at the @10xgrowthconference , and I've been able to workout, meal prep, and travel without feeling weird or out of place!

As a vegan, it’s hard, and I know going to any business event, I’m not going to expect a full vegan menu catered for me and my personal goals.

My secret, which I personally use and teach my students, is my hybrid meal prep protocol.

I track all the foods I eat while making sure I’m getting more than enough nutrients to prevent weight regain. Being vegan, I knew I had to prepare for my trip. So, I meal-prep high-protein foods so I can continue to build muscle while burning fat.

As a vegan, I had to take protein shakes @sunwarrior , seitan from @uptonsnaturals and some @daringfoods chicken.

When I’m eating with my peers, I eat the ā€œside dishesā€ or any available vegan foods, like quinoa or house salad, mixed fruits, and oats.

It’s easy to find high-carbohydrate and fatty foods, but it isn't easy to find good-quality protein.

It’s how I'm able to have a ripped six-pack and build muscle while traveling.

Are you tired of making excuses and wanting to learn more about my system because of your busy lifestyle?

Comment ā€œTRAVEL,ā€ and I’ll teach you personally how to improve your health while you’re on your business trips!

The Misinformation Problem in Fitness 🚨

Saw a video of someone bashing other workouts, claiming they’re ā€œuselessā€ unless you lift heavy. And look, I get it—lifting heavy does make you stronger.

BUT here’s what they missed:

Not everyone is ready to hit the gym and load up a barbell. I train people from all walks of life—beginners, those recovering from injuries, and people starting their weight-loss journeys. For them, jumping straight to heavy lifting can and WILL lead to fast injuries, not progress.

Fitness isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every workout has its time and place, and as a coach, it’s my job to help people find what works for THEM.

šŸ‘‰ Ready for a fitness plan tailored to YOU? Drop ā€œFITā€ below, and let’s get you started on a journey that actually fits your goals. šŸ’Ŗ

Here’s why I went vegan.

My name is Korin Sutton. I’ve been vegan for over 12 years, and I’m a pro bodybuilder and sports nutritionist. My journey began in the most unlikely place—the battlefield. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom 3 and 4, where I saw unimaginable violence and bloodshed. War changes you, and I realized that I didn’t want to contribute to any more violence, whether towards humans or animals.

After the military, I came across Gary Roski, who opened my eyes to the war on animals—their imprisonment, suffering, and death for the sake of taste. The horrors these animals face felt eerily similar to what I experienced in war, and that’s when I knew I had to change my life.

I decided to embrace a lifestyle that promotes life, peace, and compassion.

šŸ‘‡ If you’re thinking about transitioning to a plant-based diet and bringing more peace into your life, comment ā€œNEW VEGANā€ below. I’ll personally reach out to help you on your journey.

Reduce Your Meat Intake And Lose Fat!

Do you love meat but notice you can’t lose weight?

Have you tried keto, carnivore, or animal-based and still not seen results?

Trust me, it’s not your fault! There’s so much information online about being healthy and losing fat that you can get lost in the sauce.

I always tell everyone it doesn’t matter what diet they’re on. You have to be in a caloric deficit, but if they want to optimize their blood work, I highly recommend a whole-food plant-based diet or a plant-forward diet.

Plant-forward means that you might have some meat in your diet, but the majority eat plants!

Plants have tons of fiber and micronutrients like vitamins A and C that you can’t get from meat.

My client, Igor Araujo, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, used to love meat because he’s Brazilian. He loved to BBQ and drink with his friends. It’s a great social event, but having so much fun connecting with friends and family was putting his health at risk!

When he went to the Doctor, they told him that his LDL cholesterol was high and that he should pay attention to his diet. He also had a new baby, so he’s not only living for himself but also for his wife and daughter.

Igor is my film, editor, and social media manager. He has seen firsthand how many people I’ve helped, and now he wants that help as well.

He decided to join my team at @bodyhd_fitness, and within 16 weeks, we were able to bring his LDL cholesterol to the optimal range, boost his HDL cholesterol to the optimal range, and lose about 23 lbs (10 kg) of fat!

He eliminated most animal byproducts from his diet and ate mostly a plant-forward diet. He is happy and still working with me to get a ripped six-pack because he wants to look good for his family and be in optimal shape!

Let’s congratulate Igor for all the hard work he put in, and if you want results like Igor comment ā€œFAMILYā€ and I’ll contact you personally to help optimize your health for your family and yourself!

Trying to lose fat and still drinking soda? Yeah, that’s probably why the scale hasn’t moved. 🄤🚫

I used to love soda. But once I really started focusing on fat loss and blood sugar control, I had to let it go.

A single can of soda has 140 calories and 39g of sugar. That sugar spike? It’s dangerous—especially if you’re already overweight or pre-diabetic. And don’t get me started on how it messes with your appetite and cravings.

So what do I drink now?

@Zevia. Zero sugar. Zero calories. Still gets the job done when I want that fizzy fix. šŸ”„

The truth is, small swaps like this add up. You don’t need to starve yourself—you just need to stop sabotaging your progress with these little habits.

You ever wonder how I eat so much and still walk around with a shredded six-pack?

Here’s the secret: carb cycling. šŸ”

On some days, I stay in a tight calorie deficit to burn fat. But on re-feed days? I bring the calories up, replenish my glycogen stores, and still stay lean. It keeps my metabolism humming and my sanity intact.

This method is perfect if:
āœ… You’re tired of starving yourself
āœ… You want to enjoy food and still look ripped
āœ… You’re already pretty healthy but just need to cut fat and see more definition

Yes, you can still enjoy your favorite foods and stay cut — it’s just about strategy.

šŸ‘‡ Comment ā€œCARB CYCLEā€ below and I’ll help you build a meal plan that works with your cravings, not against them.
Let’s eat smart. Let’s get shredded.

This is Exactly What I Eat during a hectic Workday 🄪

You will notice that there's nothing out of the ordinary - people think vegans still eat raw plants and sh*t like that. But that could not be further from the truth.

I start my day fasting but will often have some protein shake, I like @fytafuel's 30g of clean protein with some water.

Then, I prepare my breakfast, today I went with my favorite; the tofu scramble (I've posted mad videos on how to make it - it's also on my meal-prep e-book). I will save it for after the gym.

I hit the gym, i take with my my 1.5 gallon of water to stay hydrated.

I was mad hungry so I just popped out my tofu scramble in the parking lot while I watched X-Men 97 (dope show, btw).

For lunch, I made a high-protein tofu bowl, with rice, beans and purple sweet potatoes.

I got hungry (and tired) in the afternoon so I took a break from work to make me some coffee and a couple of P&J sandwiches - there's NOTHING wrong with them by the way, just make sure you extract your own peanut butter from raw peanuts at the grocery store.

For dinner, I make another quick meal, a high-protein bowl with rice, lentils and @daringfoods chick'n. So good.

Sometimes, I will grab a donut or Ice-cream at night but my dinner got me super full, so I called it a day.

Did you enjoy this reel? Let me know in the comments and I will make more videos of what I eat in a day! šŸ„—

šŸŸ Fat doesn’t make you fat… eating too much does. Period.

Let’s break this down real quick. You’ve probably seen videos blaming fat or sugar as the villain behind weight gain. But the truth? It all comes down to CALORIES.

You can eat fats. You can eat carbs. Hell, you can even drink a Pepsi every day…
If you’re still in a calorie deficit, you’re not gaining fat.

The problem? Most people eat too much without realizing it. They focus on demonizing ingredients instead of looking at the bigger picture: total intake.

Once you lock in your calories, THEN we talk quality. Whole foods, fiber, plant-based gains. But first, stop falling for the internet nonsense.

šŸ‘‡ If you’re tired of the BS and want a real meal plan that works, comment ā€œMEAL PLANā€ and I’ll hit you up personally.
