A Father's Prayer
--------------
It was a chilly night in Jerusalem, when a local carpenter, Daniel, was kneeling by the bedside of his sick son. His young boy Eli, had not been well for multiple days now. The doctors had given no certainty and optimism seemed like a dim distant light. As hope was dwindling, Daniel’s face was covered in tears as he whispered, “Lord, please… heal my son.”

News broke out a few days later claiming that Jesus of Nazareth was making his way through villages. Daniel was looking for a healer and so wrapped Eli in a blanket and set out into the streets looking for the healer.

Even though the crowd was larger than expected, Daniel kept making his way through. His effort paid off as he reached Jesus; Daniel dropped to unusual believers knees begging out aloud, “my son ID is dying.”

To calm the child, Jesus looked at him and said, “Your faith has healed him” after gently touching his forehead.

Astonishingly, Eli was able to open his eyes. Now his father could comfort him as he smiled weakly.

This was the glorifying moment that made Daniel cry—not from sadness, but filled with joy. His heart was so full that he cradled his son and said, “Thank you Lord."

“Years down the road, Eli would recount for his children the tale of how he was touched by Jesus,” is an excerpt from that small home in Jerusalem, that believes in miracles and stories full of love and faith.

“The Last Coat”
----------------
Deep in the mountains, a remote village had a frail old woman’s grandson named Thien as its resident. After losing his parents at an early age, he dedicated his life to scavenging firewood and part-time menial jobs to afford rice for himself. One particularly harsh winter, when frost formed a picturesque line on all the trees, it struck Thien the hardest as he froze in his thin sleeves that had already ripped. Out of sheer hunger, his only remaining possession, a shirt, was now rendered useless as it did nothing to keep his cracked, purplish hands warm.

Time skipped to one morning while going on his daily scavenging tasks, he noticed a decrepit old man shivering alongside the road. Giving off quite the peculiar energy, he seemed to have descended from the heavens. Thien approached him and after hurting a chunk of his only bread to feed the man, stripped off his tee and placed it around the man's shoulder to warm him.

With a soft grasp of my hand, the old man's smile radiated bliss.

“My child,” he said, “you have just warmed Me.”

The snapshot of a pretty idyllic dream.

As the boy drifted into an eternal snooze, he pictured Jesus’s divine figure placing his gentle hand on the boy's head while saying these phrases:

“When you love the least of these, you love Me. Your kindness is the fire that warms My heart.”

And out the boy woke the next morning, a feeling overwhelming him to check the doorstep of his home. To his amazement, he found a coat as soft as clouds and warm as love lying lifeless, waiting to be embraced.

Thien went on sharing warmth on the go, with bread in hand and heaven in his heart.

FARWELL TO THE POPE OF MERCY

Now, the church bells ring not with celebration, but with sorrow. Around the world, millions bow their heads in somber mourning at the passing of a man whose heart was full of all human beings — Pope Francis. With his peaceful departure, he leaves not just a chair in the Vatican, but a legacy of hope, empathy, and humility that reached the ends of the earth.

Even in his initial balcony appearance as the new Pope, Francis had the world's attention — not in pomp and circumstance, but for what was absent: no red shoes, no golden robes, no regal title declarations — just a white cassock, a humble wave, and a plea: "Pray for me."

And we did. Because we saw in him not just a pope, but a shepherd. A father. A man who reminded us that faith is not found only in ritual or rule, but in love — fierce, radical, unconditional love.

He walked with the poor, embraced the sick, kissed the feet of the refugees. He spoke softly but had a voice that echoed through the halls of power and privilege. In a world that prefers to forget the forgotten, Pope Francis did not forget them. He reminded us, too.

His words were never just words; they were a way of life. "Who am I to judge?" — he once said to us, and with five simple words, toppled walls that had lasted for centuries. To him, every soul mattered. Every wound had to be mended. Every human deserved dignity, no matter what their background, their religion, or position in life.

Today, as news of his death spreads, grief transcends religion. Christians, Muslims, Jews, atheists, the believers and the doubters — all are grieving this loss. Because Francis did not speak to Catholics only. He spoke to the human in all of us.

While his time on this earth is done, his spirit lives on. In every act of selflessness. In every bridge built between discord. In every soft voice of compassion where there once was judgment.

We bid farewell to a Pope who redefined leadership — not from a throne, but from the heart.

Rest in peace, Pope Francis. You have gone home to the God of love you served so fervently. The world is slightly darker now you're gone, but the flame you lit within us will never be extinguished.

The Blanket
--------------
Anna sat slumped on the bed, the harsh reality of the hospital system prevalent. The side effects of chemo were evident. She was only sixteen and had already lost the drive she once had. “God...if You exist...let me not sense the void.” Anna prayed quietly as tears began to drizzle on the quilt, momentarily flowing freely.

“Here’s the chemo blanket from the church. You are not alone.” Anna remembersably recalled in retrospect for how soothing the wool felt—the stitches of bridging arms binding around and whispering soothing words verging on love.

Anna would go on to complete recovery. Now, she loves hand knitting and showcasing love through simple stitches. Every tight grab of the wool she intricately wraps around the needles come with them the trimming of words soothingous words guiding

Through Ana's own thead, Anna wishes to sew God's love all across children's hearts knowing on God’s love through soft stickers stitched onto the blanket serve wafting around the poorly waiting around her.

The Courage of Christ
-------------
Once there was a man named Jesus who walked the earth in an era devoid of hope. Violence and cruelty were the status quo. But His kindness, gentleness might, and love transformed despair into hope. Out of everything, His courage defined Him.

He taught peace, healed the sick, and comforted those broken. But despite all His miracles and goodness, a lot of people did want to accept Him. Even when everything good about Him was apparent, His existence was met with mockery. And did plot against Him. He never found solace in the face of hate or fear.

Jesus knew full well what was waiting for him. He embraced every mockery directed at Him which He faced in the name of love. Triumphant soldiers and endless crowds threw insults during His walk to the guillotine, or, as Jesus liked to call it emptied cross. He put foot after foot and soldier after soldier without faltering, The man equipped with so much hate had no respite but as He reached His prophy.

While equipped physically with nothing but a nail in hand, pierced wood, and pain, He chose a redemptive path. “Forgive them Father,” He uttered while fathering to them and deteriorating at the seams of his entity. Ends lacked and dipped in hope yet struggled to make sense. While semblance might exist, what misconception enables such phrases,” It was indeed peace that altered strong, yet, Heaven's Might noticed.

This world does not abide courage but fears it, which explains that precision — forks, love, leg free submitted composure. All succumbing for the frail essence scars. The reality that awaits when one may possess race demon beg beg courage devoid of fear be told 'It's okay.' But splendor enters with submission for any semblance of affinity bring in the recoil before a battle crafted and painted out of pain.POSW. Jesus starving savagery wanted through His,l Defence is no longer invalid.

It shifted burden Satan, tender, terror […].

His life illustrates that light can be found during our most difficult times through faith, love, and incredible acts of bravery.

Once, there was a man by the name of Thomas who ever so diligently lived a simple life. Sadly, he lost everything, including; his family, home, and health. His life was a paradox of despair, and it gave out the feeling of being forgotten. One drizzling day, he was sitting alone in a small church. He wept while whispering, “Why have you forsaken me, Lord?”

That sudden silence was transcended by a soft yet powerful voice that echoed in his heart. “Thomas, I have never left you. With every tear dropped, I am with you as I have been through in each moment of grief.”

God, who he thought was miles away, fought next to him in every battle life threw at him. Instead of feeling anger, he forgave. This brought peace to his heart while relieving the burdening feeling of grief he felt. All he had left was sorrow, and Embracing hope was the only way out.

With the love and comfort he was able to receive, made Thomas lift his burden years later. He, became a beacon of faith. A guide. Thomas turned out to be an idol for others.

And every time he encountered challenges in his life, he would recall that instant when he was in church and could feel God's love. It was an exceptionally powerful moment that brought him tears; tears, however, filled with thanksgiving.

In a small village, there lived a man named Thomas. Like everyone else, he had his fair share of mistakes. One day, filled with guilt, he cried out to God while kneeling beside a river. Lamenting, he asked to be forgiven. Guilt oftentimes clouds our judgment and makes us feel unlikeable. But for Thomas, forgiveness felt like a possibility for the first time.

Alongside the river, Jesus loomed as a comforting figure. While supine on his bed, Thomas remembered vividly Jesus extending his arm and saying, “I’ve always cared about you and will forever. Whether you believe it or not, your past is just your past. Let go, and allow me guide you towards peace.” His words radiated sympathy and warmth.

Inevitably waking, He was refreshed and greeted by the sight of Thomas. Stray from the thought of obliteration, because in the coruscating sun, Thomas paradoxically coexists. Filling the earth with panache, shaping a world that stands resilient. Mercy and grace pouring insatiably designed to enlighten all and unwaveringly filled with love. Witness every aspect and remain indulged within the concocted beauty filled reality. Ultimately forgiving the unforgivable. That's the kind of love God has, and the change itself Physically determines the wonder of God.

The courage of Jesus Christ is a profound demonstration of selfishness and strength. His courage was neither demonstrated through wars nor demonstrations of physical power but in his willingness to sacrifice his life for the salvation of mankind. Since he began his ministry, Jesus faced opposition, criticism, and even betrayal from individuals who were closest to him. Despite the suffering and pain that he knew he was going to experience, he chose to submit himself to the will of God.

The final act of bravery was when Jesus underwent the crucifixion. He did not need to undergo the agony, but for love of humanity and the will to fulfill his purpose, he embraced the path of suffering. In the Garden of Gethsemane, he prayed for strength, but he surrendered to the will of God, showing extreme bravery in the midst of unspeakable pain.

Jesus' courage is not physical strength but moral fortitude to do as he knew he should, even if it cost him himself. His example encourages millions to live with compassion, forgiveness, and courage, reminding us that courage is best illustrated by sacrifice for others, not glory for self. His courage continues to be a source of hope and inspiration for Christians across the globe.

In a hidden valley, a shepherd named David lived a simple life. His daily chores involved guiding flocks of sheep into the bountiful fields close to a river. For David, life as a shepherd may have been mundane, but he was at peace knowing that he was safeguarding and feeding his sheep.

Worry covered David’s heart like a blanket when he was hit with a fierce storm one evening. Rain was pouring down heavily, and the wind was howling, which made David’s heart ache with even more worry. Weak and small, one of his sheep strayed off from the flock and was in desperate need of help. Regardless of being drenched and tired, David knew that refusing to leave the weak sheep behind was not an option. Bravely, he ventured out into the dark storm, calling out the sheep’s name.

After what seemed to be endless searching, he stumbled across a frightened lamb and was able to hold him close. “I will never leave you, my little one,” were the comforting words David whispered to the lamb.

Even during the dimmest hours of life, God wishes to remind His children that he will always keep them protected. While caring for sheep, Davids actions along with his remaining feelings showcased how deeply he cared for them. The love David held in his heart filled it with gratitude, allowing him to understand that regardless of how much love one contains, it will always prevail.
