Hi everyone! I got a couple comments that my recent video was copying "Life According To Tessa"'s microtrend video! I hadn't heard of this creator and I immediately went to see what was up and I see where these comments were coming from - our videos are on the exact same topic and hers performed really well so it would be tempting to take inspiration from, however this isn't what happened here.
I just wanted to provide proof here that her video was uploaded on May 12, 2025 and as you can see here I uploaded my video to YouTube on May 9, 2025. It did not get released to you until May 23rd, but I had filmed, edited and uploaded it to the back end of my Youtube channel May 9th. 3 days before hers was live.
This happens a lot in the creator space! We both simply had the same idea at the same time and that's awesome:)

Hi besties!!!
Youtube has been a LOT lately - I went up to posting 2x per week 2 months ago (and 1x per week on second channel) and I have been feeling the burn out for SURE. Also - I know so many of you have said you would literally watch my content whatever I post (this is very nice haha) but I am noticing that some videos tank while others do super well.
Soooo I was thinking of scaling back on main channel uploads but starting a Patreon so that those who truly want to see the chaotic, not perfectly edited, stream of consciousness content can have access to it without it tanking my YouTube numbers (unfortunately if I wanna make this job I do have to care about the numbers - I hate it too lmao)
What do you think of this idea? Less youtube uploads (still minimum 1x per week, but 2 videos per month that are more personal on Patreon). I want your honest opinions! Do you hate Patreon, do you think this is a good idea, etc etc.
Tell me alllll your thoughts please because I only wanna provide this if you want it!
