On february 23rd 2022 I posted my FIRST studio vlog here - and now it's more than three years later! For this special occasion I made a compilation video for you in which I put all the painting and drawing sequences I ever filmed in those three years. It turned into a 3H video - and to make it a little more interesting for you, I added commentary at the start of those painting sequences. Chatting about what I was working on at that time - oh and nails and hair styles.

I received the worst news last weekend: my dad passed away on march 1st at the age of 64. We knew he had heart problems since september, but believed he, at the least, had years left. It turned out to be just months.
I’ll be taking some time off to mourn and also to organize the piles of paperwork that have to be done.
I had my doubts to share this publicly, but it’s better than pretending to be fine. It’s all been pretty overwhelming.
I’m reading comments, but I’ll reply when I have more space. Same for my email - if it’s urgent feel free to remind me. Shop orders will be sent out, just a bit more slowly than usual.
I had a few almost finished videos left which I’ll share first when I get back to work. It’s weird but it’s also a shame to let those go to waste.

This month is my YouTube 3 year anniversary and I want to celebrate this by making a compilation video of ALL the painting I've done in studio vlogs. What do you think? Only thing is I'll have to use background music since I don't have the original files anymore.

No new video this sunday, but I have new studio vlogs in the works - just not ready to share them yet :-) In the meantime, if you haven’t seen my latest video yet: it’s all about the current state of social media (bad), creating newsletters (good) and taking control of your social media addiction (I’m 100% speaking about myself here).
A nice result of this video is that so many of you signed up to my own newsletter, I’ll have to move to another (paid) service soon. I also updated my first automatic e-mail to be more personal and more about ‘how I became an artist’ (another video I’d like to redo someday).

How’s your january going? :-)
This sunday the second part to my planning + reviewing video will be up to watch! This one goes into all my plans of 2024, reviewing them and making new fresh goals for 2025. I’ll also show you how I use post-its to make a full YEAR feel more manageable.
