Itâs easy to become overwhelmed by stress and feel out of control. Itâs easy to feel anxious, but when you focus on deeply breathing, you allow your body the chance to reset and recover from the negative side effects of stress.
So why does this matter?
Because studies show that business owners struggle with high blood pressure, sleepless nights, and stress.
Your business canâquite literallyâmake you sick or slow your progress. A simple BUT SO EFFECTIVE way to combat this is by breathing with intention.
As you breathe, you will become aware of thoughts, feelings, memories, and patterns that are not aligned your business goals.
While meditation is an extremely useful form of self-reflection because it allows us to see the pace, substance, and truth of our thoughts, it also keeps us stuck in our mind, while many business owners are seeking to get out of their own heads.
Meditation is a slow and steady practice that over a period of time will shift our perspectiveâŚitâs a practice I try to do daily for just 10 minutes.
But many entrepreneurs are seeking relief now.
Breath work can be easier to drop into when you are seeking more immediate feedback.
This is a perfect practice to do in the middle of your work day, before making a big decision, or when youâre feeling overwhelmed.
When anxiety creeps in, I remind myself:
1. Persistent
2. Consistent
3. Grateful
