There's no doubt that the world is looking to rechargable tools as a solution to the fuel burning, traditional style tools. Until recently though, there haven't been any real good options for arborist, and especially tree climbers.
So, when I had the opportunity to pick up a well cared for, but used Husqvarna T536lixp with a charger and 2 batteries for less than half the cost of a new saw, I had to give it a go. I have some specific reasons for why this saw is almost a "must have" for me. However, in this video, I decided to give the saw a good working over while taking down this Juniper Tree Spare, and see how well it interfaced with my current climbing setup, how well it would hand this incredibly dense wood, and how long the battery would last.
So, here's the first video review of my Husqvarna t536lixp Top handle Battery Arborist Chainsaw.
