Due to my OOTP streams clogging up everyones' notification inboxes, I'm going to be doing future streams on my other channel. I'm also uploading something on that channel right now that will relate to an upcoming long-form video...

Found a solution for people that don't like shorts cluttering up their subscription feed. I have a separate channel for shorts and other miscellaneous stuff that weren't really for this channel. If you have no problem with shorts in your subscription feed, give that channel a sub...

Trying out shorts just to see how it goes. Still working on long-form videos in the meantime and if it looks like shorts are diluting the quality of the channel, I'll delete them in the future.

Tried something different today. Usually I put some music in the background to make the video a little more busy, cover up vocal plosives some, and maybe some atmosphere, but, outside of the intro, had no music in the video today. What's better, music or no music?

Vox Popeye or something like that.

New video tomorrow. I don't want to do one of those premiere things because it's always seemed kinda tacky and self-important to do that, but if you want to watch it right away it will post at 11AM central time tomorrow.

Well... might be a longer delay in my next video as I just got two manual copyright claims from MLB Advanced Media that I have to deal with.

Trying to get next video out before the end of next week, but a bout of sickness has set me behind a couple of days. If it isn't out by Friday, will probably be Tuesday or Wednesday the week after as I'm traveling to the Army Navy game over that weekend.

What's coming up over the next few months (unless I get another idea in the meantime and drop everything to do that)

-Best $100+ Million Contracts in Baseball History (looks like it's going to be a top 12)
-An "I Dun Goofed" video where I address every error in all my videos and set the record straight
-A video where I watched every single baseball movie since 1970 and rank them purely on how much the baseball scenes actually look like baseball (can the actors play? Is it a real baseball and not CGI? Is it edited so you can see what's going on? Does the baseball actually make sense)
-Also doing a non-baseball video hopefully out before the NFL draft listing the top 10 team drafts in NFL history

Every single one of these are in different stages of development. Some I'm still researching, most I have some of the script written. Can't commit to a timeline (especially since that baseball movie video is going to be a BEAST at over 2 hours long), but should have the best $100+ million contracts video out first.

Thanks for the support everyone.

A little callout for some research help. I'm currently doing analysis of every single $100 million dollar contract (adjusted for baseball inflation based on league average salary at the time) but making sure my list is complete is very very hard as there's no good source for all free agent deals and extensions going back to 1975. I've got a very good list so far, but I'm sure I'm missing a few. If there's any you think I'm missing, please call them out...

Current list - www.reddit.com/r/baseball/comments/yto9xh/evaluati…

Couple notes: Not including any contracts that buy out arbitration years. Not including any contracts that are still current (Strasburg, Corbin, Tatis, Harper, J Rodriguez, etc).

Where I'm probably lacking is extensions after team control years are up. For instance, I missed Joe Mauer and Ichiro Suzuki on my first pass.
