When I went to reinstall the new carburetor, I found the plastic carb spacer was cracked. Normally, that would mean a big delay â but thanks to Plastix-20, I was able to fix it quickly and get back on track!
I just wrapped a little masking tape around the edge, filled the crack with Instant Reaction Fiber, hit it with the activator, and after a little filing, sanding, and re-drilling, I had a fully usable part in less than 20 minutes.
This stuff is truly a game-changer for repairs like this.

A couple weeks ago my mom gave me something thatâs changed how I see my grandfather forever.
Tucked away for over 80 years, she revealed a box filled with nearly 200 letters and postcardsâeach one handwritten by my grandfather while he was serving as a tank mechanic in Germany during World War II. He wrote them to his wifeâmy grandmaâthroughout his time overseas. I had no idea these letters even existed until that moment.
Iâve only just started reading them, but already theyâve brought back a flood of memories. My grandfather was an incredible manâquiet, humble, and skilled. He taught me so much growing up. I was 17 when he passed, and though we were close, he never spoke muchâif at allâabout his time in the war. Now, through these letters, Iâm beginning to understand a part of him I never knew.
Itâs emotional, eye-opening, and deeply humbling. Itâs a reminder of what so many gave, and what some never returned from.
Iâm not sure if this is something others would want to hear more about, but I felt this discovery was too special not to share. These letters arenât just pieces of paperâtheyâre a window into history, into sacrifice, and into the heart of a man I deeply respect and miss.
