To ease congestion on Delhi–Gurugram stretch of NH-48, the Shallow Tunnel & Airport Underpasses of #DwarkaExpressway will open for trial from 29 May, daily between 12:00–15:00 hrs.

On a train to Delhi yesterday, I met an Indian Army soldier headed to the border. His lower berth was crowded with people sitting around, leaving no room for him to lie down or rest. We had a spare top berth, which he quietly said he preferred. I urged him to take it, saying, "Aapko pata nahi kab tak jagna padega, ek raat aaram se so jaiye." He smiled humbly and said, "Hume aadat hai aise rehne ki, main theek hoon."
My heart swelled with respect, and I felt a quiet pride as I rolled out the bedding on the top berth for him. After some convincing, he climbed up to sleep. As I tucked in the sheets placed the pillow, I couldn’t help but feel honored to do this small gesture for someone who does so much for us.
The next morning, he woke up fresh, his calm smile saying it all. As he stepped down, I grinned and said, "Bhaiya, do terrorists mere taraf se bhi thok dena." He gave a quiet thumbs-up. 👍
These heroes carry our nation’s safety with such grace. That moment of making his bed, that chat—it’s a memory I’ll cherish forever. 🇮🇳🙏
