Been doing some small jobs in the workshop for some friends
1. I calculated the correct size for Saturn's ring and cut it on the laser cutter (the thickness is exaggerated but the diameter is correct), my friend will now decorate the globe and ring to look like Saturn
2. I Built a tri-barthinov mask for my telescope using the laser cutter
3 & 4. The electronics are in and the box glued up with a removable back (for tinkering)
Sorry no videos for any of this...

Been messing around in the workshop making things with the Laser Cutter, I've learnt a lot and got a few more videos on this tool coming up in the next few weeks. I bet you can't guess what the first image is :-) Put Answers In the Comments!

Welcome to my channel.
I’m a retired six sigma IT consultant, but don’t let that put you off, my family never understood what I did for a living so I don’t expect you to either - and I promise to not mention it again!
Like many people at working age my interests took a back seat and now I’m retired I’m free to explore them and learn the skills needed to be successful at them. This channel is about my journey and I’d love you to share it with me, either as a sage I can listen to and learn from through the comments or someone not so far along the road that I can pass what I’ve learnt onto.
I’m not sure how it will turn out but you are welcome to find out with me.
