Keyboardist, arranger and composer Cal Harris Jr. was raised in Los Angeles, CA. His father was a sound engineer for Motown and Harris spent a lot of time in the studios there. This fostered a relationship with music that first led him to a successful career as a sought after recording engineer and now as a successful Contemporary Jazz Keyboardist. Cal has a passion and talent for composition as well as a lifetime of priceless experiences in the industry. He drives home the idea of creating solid, seductive, and infectious melodies through impeccable production. He is involved in nearly every part of the musics production, including the writing, keyboarding, saxophone, and mixing. Working with some of the finest miusicians in the industry - Ricky Lawson, Micheal White and Euge Groove among them, Harris has produced Billboard hiits and a strong following for his brand of smooth, relaxing grooves
