Hey everyone, today is the 81st year anniversary of D-Day.
On the Omaha, Utah, Juno, Gold, and Sword Beaches, an approximated 157,000 brave soldiers stormed these beaches. This victory was one of the biggest battle achievements of WW2.
Around 4,415 soldiers however, have passed away storming these beaches.
Rest in peace to all of the brave men who have sacrificed themselves/died on this battle.
Have all soldiers who have stormed these beaches and to be remembered for their bravery and sacrifice.
And let’s not forget about all the civilians who have passed during this invasion as well, may they all rest in peace.

So uhh just finished rewatching Band Of Brothers and I just have to say OMG I JUST LOVE THE SHOW SM-

If you’re a ww2 or just history nerd in general, I HIGHLY recommend you watch this show! Personally it’s my favorite show of all time and I just recommend you give it a watch!! (However, if you cannot handle stuff like violence or gore then you shouldn’t give this show a try)
