This week two very solid and mature believers in Christ, who lead millions of others passed away. Kay Arthur who was the cofounder of Precept Ministries International, with her husband Jack and tonight Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the Duck Dynasty family. This is just another reminder that one day we will all pass away and enter into the presence of the Lord. Are you ready?

I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his Kingdom: 2 Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.
For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths. - 2 Timothy 4:1-4 NLT

I find it fascinating and also very telling that I took almost an hour to biblically refute the ridiculous claims that "I've touched God's anointed" when I called out Perry Stone and yet what I receive from most of the Christians who commented are more ridiculous attacks and not one word about the biblical evidence I presented.
It's interesting to me, but not surprising how biblically illiterate Christians are which is why hucksters like Perry Stone and others can continue to rip folks off. And this is the fruit of ministries like Perry Stone - idol worship and biblical illiteracy. It's not discipleship or making disciples of Christ, it's actually making idol worshippers of false teachers like Stone.

A few folks have asked what the allegations are against Perry Stone. Here's a list from Perplexity.ai which compiles all the news stories.
The specific allegations against Perry Stone, a Tennessee-based televangelist, center on multiple instances of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior toward women associated with his ministry. According to letters received by his ministryâs board and confirmed by several news reports, the accusations include:
Groping women
Showing that he was aroused while fully clothed and rubbing himself in their presence
Asking women in his ministry about their breasts
Kissing women on the neck and lips, and asking them to kiss him in similar ways
Messaging women to send him pictures
Asking women to massage him
Additional reports describe âunwanted kissing,â âinappropriate words and actions,â and Stone admitting to âacting inappropriatelyâ with female employees. The allegations prompted his ministryâs board to request that he step down temporarily and undergo counseling while the complaints were evaluated.
Stone has publicly claimed that some of his actions were misinterpreted social behaviors rooted in his Italian heritage, such as hugging and kissing on the cheek, but he acknowledged that he had âacted inappropriatelyâ and asked for forgiveness from those offended.
