in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
Spent the last couple days reorganizing the little corner of my apartment that serves as my “studio” (pics are after > before).
Also tore down the black wallpaper I put up a few months ago, I just felt like I needed a brighter space. Not sure why I ever put it up tbh.
Not 100% done yet, but I think it looks a lot better, plus I set it up so it’s easier to start painting AND record videos, which should help with getting videos out more often :)
I’ll have something new out soon, and I’m also working on a few videos for my Patreon launch.
Stay tuned!

I got a couple messages asking me if I have a Patreon or more in depth tutorials available (yes to both, but both are outdated and not active at the moment), so I'm curious to know if anyone besides those two people would be interested in that lol
Think full length narrated process videos, in depth videos about art related things (composition, selling, etc), subscriber-only livestreams and feedback sessions, possibly a few mini (and not so mini) courses, and so on.
Let me know, and if you have specific ideas or suggestions, leave a comment with it!
P.S. Obviously I'd keep posting videos here too. Also I can't see who votes what so don't be shy 😉

I was so excited to work on the video for this, until I checked the footage and realized my head was in the way for the first half of the process
BUT I used whatever clear shots I had for a carousel breaking down each major step. YT doesn’t have carousels and I can only share a max of 5 images, so if you’d like to see it you can just look up Ed Pulella Art on IG or TikTok and find it there (or use the links on my channel)

This video took a lot of effort to make (and not just because I was still kind of sick), I wanted to try and cover the most important things that go into creating a good landscape painting, as well as things I often get questions about and see people struggle with, while still trying to keep it approachable.
I really hope you'll find this helpful, and if you have any questions or feedback, please let me know!
Also, this was the first time I got sponsored for a video, which is crazy (and thank you all for being here and helping to make that happen), so if you happen to want a free Skillshare trial, check the video description :)

Working on a video focused on simplifying the landscape painting process, with this painting being the subject of the video.
Since I haven’t recorded a voiceover yet, let me know if there’s anything in particular you’d like me to talk about, whether it’s specific to this painting or landscape painting in general.
Also this was the first time I mixed watercolors and gouache, which I’m surprised and a little upset I had never tried before. Might have to make a whole video about that too..

Giving my watercolors a breather and jumping back into gouache for a change, new video coming soon!

How am I just now discovering that Daniel Smith started selling gouache?! Has anyone tried it? I need it.

Just wanted to share a couple thoughts about the direction of this channel.
As you may have noticed I've been posting *a lot* more than I probably ever did on here, and that's because I'm committed to putting some serious effort into reviving this channel and making it one of my main platforms. It's something I've always wanted to do because I genuinely love the community on here and I enjoy making videos, but for one reason or another I always kind of.. half 🍑ed it.
If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I like to play around with different mediums. I started with watercolors, then moved to gouache, then oils, then acrylics, with a decent amount of digital sprinkled throughout.
That's probably not going to stop lol I've been having fun exploring watercolors again lately, but you can definitely expect future videos to also feature the mediums I've mentioned, and possibly more (I had some run ins with pastels and colored pencils recently..)
I hope you'll enjoy what's to come.
P.S. Go watch my last video if you haven't yet! Thx :)

I made a video breaking down my watercolor setup after receiving a good number of questions about it. I list all the colors I use (plus a few extra ones), my brushes, sketchbook, pencils, the whole deal.
If you want to simplify your own set up, or are just the type who likes to watch videos about ✨S T U F F✨ (I know you're out there, I'm right there with you), give it a watch.

If you were around for those "chill painting videos with relaxing music and no voiceover" that I used to make, you might enjoy this one :)
