🐦⬛ CROW FACT: Did you know crows can recognise individual humans... and even hold grudges against people they don't like?
Researchers at the University of Washington noticed that scientists who had previously caught and banded crows for research purposes got a frosty reception when the crows saw them again days or weeks later.
Crows they had banded would "scold" them (caw harshly and flick their wings at them), and over time other crows from the same flock would start to do the same, suggesting that crows "gossip" about their grievances to friends and family.

Over on my other channel (@KristianCrow) I've just covered the story of "Lawnchair Larry" - a man who built a homemade cluster-balloon rig and floated illegally across California in 1982. It's exactly as absurd as it sounds... and it comes very close to being a horror story at times. Give it a look if you want something a bit different!

Time to come clean - it's past midday where I live, and so I can admit that today's video is, in fact, the plot of the excellent 1996 action film Twister. Did anyone get to the very end without figuring it out? I have to say, it's so cinematic that it was a HUGE struggle to find moments that didn't look too much like a movie!
