Hi Cronies,
Hope you are all well. Easter holidays are done and dusted. So hopefully, things can get back to normal (whatever that means). I've just got back from a weekend away with hubby and youngest child so that he gets used to the Caravan site we are going to in the summer. It went better than expected, and my older two have been spring cleaning with little brother out of the way.
They have done a great job so far...
I'm hoping to get a catch up video done shortly so watch out for that 😁

It's the Easter holidays in the UK so my kids are all off school and college so it's chaos central. I hope to get some form of content out depending on family dynamics. The cherry on the top is hubby is on nights this week so I can't even retreat to the bedroom to make a video. Hopefully I can sort out the back room so I can make videos in there again. But best laid plans etc....

Spring has sprung in my local park, and with the spring equinox due in a couple of days, I thought I would venture out. I left a biodegradable offering for the tree spirits and meditated for a while. It is a lovely place to meditate early in the day or in the light evening. But was a little noisy at 11am.

Then I paid my respects to Rose and Amy, which I try to do whenever I pass through the park. Yesterday was the anniversary of their deaths. I was glad to see someone had left a couple of flowers for them. Sadly, I had nothing on me to leave them, but I will try to in future.

Managed to go out for a walk to my local park today. First time out since being ill. It did wear me out a bit, but I was glad to be in the fresh air again. I didn't have the energy to take pics (hence, the park pic is from a previous visit) today, but I did see that the Daffs were defiantly in bloom despite the cold weather. Spring is just around the corner πŸŒ³πŸŒ³πŸŒ³πŸŒ³πŸŒ²πŸŒ²πŸŒ²πŸŒ²πŸŒΊπŸŒΊπŸŒΊπŸŒΊβ€οΈβ€πŸ©Ήβ€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Good morning my lovely Cronies. Hopefully, I am on the other side of a humbling and scary episode. about a couple of weeks ago, my little fella (son number two) came home with a winter vomiting bug. Quite normal for this type of year only mine developed into full-blown gastroenteritis. I am recovering but taking each day as it comes, as I don't have the spoons to do otherwise. Needless to say, Valentine's Day went up the swanny. With the February half-term in full swing please keep you and your families safe coz there are a lot of nasty bugs about. Much Love Vyki the Nerdy Crone xxx.

Hi everyone, I'm just putting the finishing touches to my next video. It will be a personal tarot reading for myself in 2025 that I will then review later on in the year. I used some decks that I got for Christmas/ Yule, and funnily enough, it turned out to be a bit of a purple fest. As my foot is getting better, I hope to get out and about this week, starting with some convalescent walks in my local park.

Happy New year everyone, I've just finished recording my first video of 2025. It's quite long so might end up being a two-parter depending on how the editing goes. Its a review of 2024 and I hope to have it up in a few days. :).

Happy New Year everyone.

Hope you are all well and enjoying what is left of the festive season. 2025 is a really big year for me as I turn 50 in May. So I really want to challenge myself. However if I have learned anything from last year its best-laid plans of mice and men and all that, but I am working on a review video with the help of an app called Xtiles. First time in my life I am feeling slightly organised lol. I still have a houseful of family so getting videos done during the chaos is very difficult but who knows what might appear if I get a window.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share this picture with you below of an event I attended just before Xmas. It was the unveiling in my local park of a memorial stone dedicated to two women who were accused and tried for witchcraft in Bury St Edmunds. Where they were later hanged. They were accused on the words of their own neighbours and the trial was used as the blueprint for the Salem witch trials in the USA.

The Latin on the stone means 'Who will watch the watchers."

These poor women's graves are unknown, but it is a humbling and sombre reminder of less tolerant times. Perhaps if people were educated more about these times they would be more inclined to listen and not judge. May Amy and Rose now rest in Peace.

May we all learn to be more understanding to those with differing opinions from our own, or who seem a bit odd or weird to us. May we be kinder to those who fall on hard times or those who do not have access to the same opportunities as us.

We do not know another's struggles unless we are walking in their shoes. And not all disabilities are visible.

Here's hoping for a kinder more benevolent world in 2025 (worth an ask isn't it?).

Best wishes and Love to you all
Vyki (the Nerdy Crone)
