Aka miscellaneous (and for a short time "boomchick") co-founder of The Headspace Collective, Elaine is a backline tech, sound engineer, dj and was production manager for The Great Beyond chill stage in 2021 & '22 and Radio Furthur Domeland 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019.
In Milwaukee, WI '93 Elaine tasted mixing live- using tapes & an all-in-one stereo on LPFM. Working in Fort Lauderdale, FL, 1995 Elaine got her first chance to mix on Technics 1200s at an art gallery/record store. Back in Milwaukee she dove into djing at cafe/art shows/house parties and her turntables were part of Free Radio BOB which formed into the Wireless Virus Free Radio Collective. Eventually she moved to Minneapolis, became a mom and continues to work as a promoter, sound tech and dj for dance events.
