I’ve been learning this week at the Boston International Trauma Conference, and it’s deepened something in me. Dr. Bessel van der Kolk—author of The Body Keeps the Score—reminds us how trauma lives in the body, and how vital it is to find ways to release it.
That’s why I create this EMDR music—for moments when words aren’t enough, but your nervous system still needs care.
If you’re here listening, know this: your healing matters. Keep showing up for yourself, one breath at a time.

Hi, I'm Maggie Kelly LPC—a therapist specializing in Somatic EMDR from CO, US. I created this channel as a resource for my clients and am so happy YouTube has helped others find it!
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma therapy that uses bilateral stimulation—like eye movements, sounds, or taps—to help the brain reprocess distressing memories and adapt new, more positive beliefs and emotional responses. EMDR Music uses bilateral audio tones that alternate between ears to support emotional processing, relaxation, focus, and nervous system regulation.
Headphones are required for the full effect.
How to use: Find a quiet space, put on headphones, and allow the alternating tones to gently support your inner work. Use before bed to relax or during focused studying to stay grounded.
