Hello everyone, I hope youāre enjoying the holiday season and havenāt gone insane with the serious lack of motorsport yet. I wanted to take the opportunity to announce a few changes on this channel for the new year that is just around the corner.
First, I am rebranding this channel that will from now on be called āThe Sim Racing Time Machineā. The reason for this is that I couldnāt identify with the old name any longer which still originated from a time when this was a secondary channel for me and my friends during late high school and university where we uploaded a variety of gaming videos. Since this channel became something very different in the last few years, I wanted to give it an appropriate name with which I can identify myself and my content with.
In keeping with this change, there will also be a change in terms of the content of this channel. Two years ago, I started a long-time project with Dream F1 that was supposed to be the flagship series of this channel. And while I enjoyed creating 28 episodes + pre-season tests, I must admit that I am currently lacking a bit of motivation in keeping this series up ā and since this series requires the most effort, I would like to at least pause it for now. I want to do Dream F1 properly or not at all and currently it feels too much like work, which it shouldnāt. I want this channel to be a hobby to do and drive the things I enjoy. Donāt get me wrong, this may not be a goodbye forever to Dream F1. Should I regain motivation, I will gladly pick up where I left it.
Still, I am planning to keep up the weekly uploads and focus on what I enjoy the most and what you like best as well, judging by the views and interactions: Classic F1 Seasons in AMS2 and other (classic) racing series such as IMSA. With Dream F1 on hold for now that means these serieses will also come out much more frequently now. Iāve got a lot of ideas for other series in AMS2 and maybe even other games that I hope to get going in 2025.
