Some of you have interpreted my recent comments as an attack on Ryan Hall. I don’t know him personally but if you can get past the over the top headlines, he does provide a rational discussion of the weather, does great livestreams during severe weather outbreaks, and provides assistance in relief efforts in hard hit areas. But his headlines are over the top. He would probably admit this! This is a media tactic that has been used for years and it works very well! Maybe I’m the one with the problem in that I don’t employ the same approach. Personally I reserve dramatic headlines for dramatic and unusual events. My opinion and mine only. Feel free to disagree. We’re still friends!

The ‪@nmbcband‬ is preparing for their next concert on Friday Night, March 3. One of the numbers we're working on has become one of my favorites, and I'm really looking forward to our band performing this piece. The title of the composition is Abram's Pursuit and was composed by Dr. David Holsinger. Below is a link to a recording of the Rocky Mountain Wind Symphony. Hope you enjoy, and hope you can come hear our band play it on March 3 at the Myrtle Beach High School!
