భారతీయ రిజర్వ్ బ్యాంక్ (RBI) మే 19, శుక్రవారం, 2,000 రూపాయల కరెన్సీ నోట్లను చెలామణి నుండి ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించినట్లు ప్రకటించింది. సెప్టెంబర్ 30, 2023లోపు రూ. 2,000 బ్యాంకు నోట్లను తమ ఖాతాల్లో జమ చేయాలని లేదా ఏదైనా బ్యాంక్ బ్రాంచ్‌లో ఇతర డినామినేషన్‌ల నోట్లతో మార్చుకోవాలని సెంట్రల్ బ్యాంక్ కోరింది. ఎలాంటి పరిమితి లేకుండా సాధారణ పద్ధతిలో బ్యాంక్ ఖాతాల్లో డిపాజిట్ చేయవచ్చు. మార్పిడి సౌకర్యం రూ. 2,000 కరెన్సీ నోట్లు మే 23, 2023 నుంచి ప్రారంభమవుతాయని ఆర్బీఐ తెలిపింది. ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న రూ. 2,000 డినామినేషన్ అని గుర్తుంచుకోండి.
