Thank you for checking out my channel, Makeitmake I’m a homemaker, homesteading newbie, and canner. I am married to my husband for 18 years with two beautiful children. I used to work in the electrical field, but I am now more focused on my passion, which is teaching and encouraging simple living/domestic skills. My husband and I are tired of the rat race and the keeping up with the Joneses. Ever since the recession of 2008 we have reevaluated our lives and decided to keep things simple and focus on what's really important.
My channel is called Makeitmake because I was once told by an Amish man that, “If you can’t get it to make then make it make!” I try to live by that using the skills I have and being as resourceful as possible. I live in good old Amish country and find great peace in living a simple life. I thank God everyday for making me a new person and changing my life. I would be nothing without Him.
