Manifestations of bondage of legalism can manifest in several ways:
Shame & Guilt: The feeling of not being good enough, constantly striving to meet unattainable standards. (You don't really fit in, but you're welcome to watch from afar)
Pride: A belief that one's own righteousness or obedience is superior to others, leading to judgment and criticism. (The attitude of once saved- always saved)
Judgmental Spirit: Focusing on the faults of others, rather than on one's own shortcomings or the grace of God. (Statements such as, I've got more Christian experience than you. I'm more of a Christian than you!)
Struggle with Forgiveness: Difficulty extending grace & forgiveness to oneself & others. (Shame, guilt, blame shifting, narcissism & manipulation)
