10 years ago today, I uploaded Life is Strange Abridged.
I was bored at my job at Bargain Booze when I suddenly imagined silly voices making fun of hipsters in this game I had been playing. So why not try? With a cheap mic and a chicken-scratch script, and help from dear friends, it got made.
It would be the start of me taking videomaking seriously and I tried to improve every aspect of it with each new release. I still have a soft spot for them, though they're *very* different to what I make now. Still, I wouldn't be where I am today without it.

Hi, there will be a video on Steam Next Fest Demos as normal, but it will be later than normal. I am still exhausted after Signalis and so I'm going to take my time with these demos rather than put out something shorter or rushing myself whilst already ragged.
Thank you to you all for your support, and for the wonderful reception to the Signalis video. Delighted people like it after working on it for so long. I hear if you watch it six times, you get The Long Version™.

Practicing with YT's sub feature, something I should have done already. The auto-generate usually captures my voice well enough, but it's best to have accurate and curated captions.

There's been a lot of comments asking how the technical tricks of MyHouse were actually done. Some of you may have seen it already, but I highly recommend checking out DavidXNewton's multi-part deconstruction of the absolute madness that lies behind the walls. It's an excellent video by someone far more equipped to delve into Doom's depths than I, and if you are interested in what's behind the curtain, you can't find a more thorough and easy to understand explanation than David's.
