There is a new version of the Fridge album Happiness coming out 26th May on @tempresltd records. It’s available for pre order now. When I compiled the album originally in 2001 I didn’t really know what I was doing and there was loads of clipping and distortion on the master that I had made in Cakewalk on my desktop PC. So recently I found all the original mixes for the album that were on DAT, transferred them, and compiled and mastered the album again with much better sound. The vinyl has been cut from the new master by Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI and I think it’s the best this album has ever sounded. The track Five Four Child Voice from the album is available digitally today. We also found some footage of Fridge playing this track in London in 2007 that has been put here on YouTube. Fridge is me and Adem Ilhan and Sam Jeffers (@worklesshard).
