Still trying to take it all in — that was my sold-out concert night at the @kolnerphilharmonie9890 . The room was packed, but so was my heart.
Your energy, your presence, your love — it all echoed far beyond the music. I’ll carry this feeling for a long time. Thank you so so so much. 🤍

The Europe tour may be in the books, but the season’s far from over — some big milestones are still on the horizon. One of them: I’ll be playing at the legendary Kölner Philharmonie on May 16. And to my absolute joy, the place is already filling up fast. But! There are still a couple of tickets floating around if you’re up for celebrating something truly monumental with me. 🤯

The last days of this tour were a dream. Munich, Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, Nürnberg and as the grand finale, two unforgettable days in Switzerland. I’m still taking it all in. I’m deeply grateful – to my incredible crew, to everyone who came, supported, felt something. You made this journey unforgettable.
Now it’s time for a little pause. Easter with the family. Heart full. Soul tired. But in the best way.
A proper wrap-up post is coming after the holidays. Until then – thank you and happy holidays for you and your loved ones. Truly. 🫧

Austria, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You truly mean a lot to me, not just because of the dynamic mentalities in Vienna, Linz, Graz, and Salzburg and the unique vibes during my performances, but also for the many personal moments and the chance to connect with so many people and friends over the tour. 🤍
A big thanks to Wiener Konzerthaus, Orpheum Graz, Szene Salzburg and Posthof Linz for making everything run so smoothly. It’s incredible to see how the audience has even doubled since my last visit. I’m already looking forward to coming back next year and can’t wait to see you all again.
Thank you so much!

The sold-out Admiralspalast in Berlin was unreal — such a blast. It’s tough to capture a day like this in just a few pictures, but I wanted to try the impossible and save the magical memory here, just to say thank you for this shared adventure. Rarely have I felt so in tune with what I do, and you all are a huge part of that. Thank you so much — this feeling from last weekend will stay with me for what‘s to come. ✨

Welcome to my merch table! Here, you’ll find a variety of sweet things, including vinyl records, CDs, T-shirts & bags, sheet music books and documentary photography books by Peter Runkewitz that capture our journey. We also have an incredible tour poster available, and all proceeds from the poster go directly to support our forest project – a cause that is very close to our hearts. 🌱
Additionally, we have an exhibition on the tour where you can learn more about this important initiative. Every purchase helps us support the project and spread awareness.

Last Saturday, something truly unforgettable happened at Leipzig’s Gewandhaus. After some unique performances with the Gewandhaus Choir there, I’ve never felt the energy of this place come together in such a powerful way. For the first time, all that energy was focused on ten fingers, two feet, and this wild guy trying to be as true as possible to the music, concentrated and compressed into a hundred-minute moment. I still don’t have the right words for it, but you all did, and I’m so grateful for your beautiful feedback and the heartfelt entries in the tour diary. I’m deeply thankful to all of you. Really, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

2025 is slowly unfolding its wings, and after a whirlwind end to last year, I’ve kept January a bit more low-key. I’ve been longing for the calm and quiet of my apartment in beautiful Weimar, just vegetating all month in nothing but a bathrobe, watching my hair grow, and staring aimlessly at the snow on my balcony.
But now, I’m slowly waking up from my winter hibernation, finding my groove again, and preparing for the adventure this year will bring: the biggest European tour of my life.
The excitement is already building as tickets fly off the shelves — some shows are nearly sold out, others halfway gone — and I can feel it’s going to be an unforgettable ride. I can’t wait to hit the road, see you all, and make this year one to remember!

Martin Kohlstedt is among the outstanding composers, pianists and producers for instrumental music and electronica. His past albums and their respective reworks were rewarded with international recognition and concert tours throughout the whole world.
With his live performances as well as his studio recordings Martin Kohlstedt sets standards on how cutting edge electronica production can intermingle with analogue and acoustic approaches ranging from classical piano and ambient to field recordings and score design in an effortless way. Kohlstedt intuitively combines inspirations and influences from fundamentally different worlds and soundscapes into a unique musical amalgam and forms it into something that feels more like a living body than a list of pieces – be it in form of a spectacular festival show, an introspective piano concert, a multidimensional movie score or an immersive album experience.
